You guessed it! Exercise!
Why am I talking about exercise? Because exercise helps us live healthier and grow stronger for whatever God has for us. It helps our heart, our mind and our hormones! And it is always nice to lose a little weight at the same time.
And to tell you the truth, I have just felt so lethargic and am trying to work on my eating. Also, in a recent book I just read (which I am going to share in another post), they talked about 5 areas that are important to focus on in your life and health was one of the first ones they mentioned. Doesn’t everyone want to be healthy, at least a little bit?
I want to be fit and active and glorify God with my body. I am just at the point of wanting to dive into exercise to help myself, my family, and others.
But I know if I go too far too fast, I could get really hurt or sick, so I thought about posts I have written before on exercise and workouts and decided I would go back to one of my favorites: Revelation Fitness with Alisa Keeton!
And with that being said, awhile ago I had put a bunch of YouTube videos together that start you in a chair and work you towards more each video. It is her Overweight and Obese Fitness videos. They helped me so much when I was out of shape and just beginning, and throughout her videos, she quotes scripture and challenges you to look to Christ. She is very real and not cheesy, which is a huge blessing when it comes to a Christian workout. She also talks about working through your struggles and knowing that opposition is coming, but to be ready for it.
So this week I challenge you to join me with her first workout video! Do it everyday until next Sunday and then I will give you a new one!
