Yes, you heard me. That thing that gets your blood pumping, heart racing and sometimes body aching. An evil word for most of you and used to be for me, especially when it came out of my husband’s mouth. Yikes! Run away! Hide behind the couch and proclaim you don’t need exercise to the rest of the world.
Instead of saying, “I surrender” saying “I can’t!”
I did it, though. I got myself off the couch and out into the fresh air. I walked and jogged for about 20 minutes tonight trying to follow my C25K app, but my kindle died so I had to figure it out from there.
If you haven’t heard of the C25K app the letters and numbers pretty much mean “couch potato to 5k. ” A famous actress mentioned it once in an article and it had been in my head ever since. Anyways, I had used it before and probably got to around week 3, but jogging in winter is hard and I am not sure what else happened but I stopped.
So I got myself going tonight with this app but eventually I had to use my phone’s stop watch to guess the rest of the way, so I can only hope I hit what they get you to do. It was a good workout! I did a lot better then I used to. It could be because I have been bike riding a couple of weeks, too.
Anyways, I guess after drinking water my next goal is to exercise.
